From LA to Reno

Got contacted by "You Killed Me First" from LA, said he was coming up to Reno along with "There She Is". Pointed them in the right direction and they got to put some nice street art up around Reno.
Always nice to meet artist from different area codes.

Santa Cruz Skateboards, Stencil Art on Skateboards

So I have always loved skateboarding.
Santa Cruz skateboards are a landmark of the skateboarding world.
I picked up a few of these old boards at a garage sale the other day.
Only .25 cents a piece, not bad.
Here is the first one I painted, with more to come.

Stencils, spray paint and acrylic on Santa Cruz skate deck.

We HeArt Bikes Art Show

We HeArt Bikes

A few photos from a fun show I was involved with this past weekend, 4-28-2012.
This was a fundraiser for the Reno Bike Project- Reno Bike Project, and at least half of the proceeds from art sales going to them. Held at the Holland Project- Holland Project in Reno, NV. All of the art was bicycle related, and there was quite a wide variety.

My piece is on the bottom here, and it sold quickly, so I was happy.
 Patrick Ortiz- Fuck Cars
The middle sculpture is by Joseph Stephenson
Erik Burke creates some new art supplies
Greif
Hayden Lyle paints Maggie
Erin Shearin- Dreah
Mason Needham, an old college classmate made these really cool sculptures out of used bike parts.
I think he made 6 of these and sold them all.
Bike enthusiast came out in full force to support artist and The Reno Bike Project.
The gallery was well packed and I would say the show was a success.
It was a good show, and I'm glad I could be a part of it.
Thanks
Bryce
